The park is well structured and easy to navigate. There is a strong emphasis on sports and recreation, with the park featuring training areas, tennis courts, athletics field and sports pitches. during my visit the park appeared to be well used with several runners and most of the sport facilities being used. A key part of design is comunicating an idea, there are many ways to achieve this with drawing being being one. Another motivation to learn hand drawn skills is to capture qualities of sites when visited and communicate fellings and emotions in way photos cannot. To guide me through the basics I attended a series of lectures and work shops, the images that follow are examples of exersizes undertaken. The following 2 images demonstrate two different ways of sketching the same object.
