Essentially, the project falls into three stages. 1 Design and build a remote control proof of concept fully working quarter scale model. 2 Design and build a full sized pre-production prototype and stage a combined land and water world record speed challenge. 3 Actually go into production with the sport and utility Landsharks. Stage one is already underway to some degree. The most recent images rely heavily on CGI which can then be used to produce the bodywork for a scale model.

How it all started. Nearly twenty years ago, I was reading about the Quasar motorcycle, which had an enclosed bodywork to protect the rider. This bodywork also made the motorbike on which it was based much better at cutting through the air and increased its top speed. After many sketches, I realised that I needed a shaft drive motorcycle donor to make things neater and so settled on the 600cc Honda NTV. A brief synopsis is as follows:. For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated with how things work and so my main career has always involved making things or solving problems. After leaving school, I completed a five-year apprenticeship as a stone carver with English Heritage and have since worked in London for various stone restoration companies for the past 25 years or so.
