Reminded me about the RenFaire and that I forgot to post our pics, so here they are. The gal in the purple gown is Grayce. The overcoat she is wearing in the full length picture is white with purple embroidery that she did herself. She is so talented! A while back, someone in business told me that one of the keys to success is not only to set goals, but to know WHY you are setting those goals. She called them the Five Compelling Reasons. If you wish to succeed in a venture, you must know why it is important for you to succeed. Success just for the sake of success is worthless, and ultimately will not be sustainable. I want to be home with my daughter. I want to establish a legacy for my family.

I must confess, I could practically smell the earth on the paper. Then again, you were never much one for washing your hands. I’m sure the harvest won’t be as bad as you keep saying. We’ve never starved yet. I guess it’s the same all over, nothing slows progress quite so well as a lumbering bureaucracy. They have farms here too, you know.
