Just another WordPress.com site. BravoTV’s Around the World in 80 Plates (Review). NBC’s announcement last week of their plans to ax several of their primetime line-up of mock reality television shows seemed to be an early eulogy to this generation of television centered around the concept of reality television, a format that, in part, was a cost-cutting strategy and standardization for networks in the late 1990s. Then BravoTV debuted Around the World in 80 Plates. Around the World isn’t necessaril...

http://joemo212.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 13, 2015. People have different opinions on food, that is certain. Some of them good, some of them bad, some of them matching our own opinions, and others, not so much. I have read some peoples opinions on the food we intake on a daily basis, including a Mrs. Amy Burns' blog. And a Mr. Mark Anthony Arceño's blog. I have also read an additional food blog called EAT GAME LIVE. So lets jump right in why don't we? Mrs Burns blog is more centered around what she does with her students, for she t...

Faith's Food Fun :) : January 2014

Faith's Food Fun :). Friday, January 31, 2014. Reading www.thebreakfastgrubguy.com. Was interesting. He had a lot to say and his site was set up nicely too. Many beautiful picture were displayed. I liked how he displayed a food and then wrote facts about that specific food. I did not enjoy www.leptologistsatlunch.blogspot.com. I did not like how it was set up and it was mostly just people talking about the food. I greatly liked www.learningthroughfood.blogspot.com. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Let's hope all this sunshine we've been having is a sign we will see crocuses peeking out of the ground soon, and temperatures in the 60's. All this missed time has affected our classroom plans. No other class is it evident than in our Foods for Life II classes. These poor kids have only been able to cook in the labs twice! Guacamole was on the menu, and there w...
