The wedding ceremony will be held on 2 November 2012 (Friday) at 6 pm on the private beach at the Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa in Cebu. Guests are asked to please arrive at the beach by 5:45 pm. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail reception on the beach, and then a dinner reception and after party at the Ballroom in the Shangri-La.

The bridal pick up and Chinese Tea Ceremony for Karen's side of the family will be held in the bridal suite on the morning of 2 November 2012, and attended by the bridesmaids, groomsmen and Karen's close family relatives. In Chinese tradition, the Tea Ceremony is the equivalent of the exchanging of vows. Traditionally, sweet tea is served by the couple as it symbolizes a warm and sweet beginning of a new life.

Sunday, May 1, 2011. Dinner and a Movie. Thursday Lee took me to see the movie Jane Eyre. I recently read the book and now consider it one of my favorites. Lee, however does not care for it much, but he was so good to take me to see it. I really enjoyed the movie. It is a little vague in regards to some of the plot details but it is an artistic portrayal of the story. Lee does not care for Chinese food but he went there for my benefit. What a good husband!
