链接见首页——服务直达—— 联合目录. 另外，国家图书馆对实名注册用户开放的Gale World History in Context也很有用，其中的传记部分包括Dictionary of Scientific Biography的传记资料，方便查询。 院馆和所图目前没有购买任何古籍数据库，但现在业界有不少古籍数据库，最常用的为爱如生公司开发的 中国古籍基本库 ，包括1万种古籍，基本涵盖了中国古代最重要的古籍，其中有的古籍收录多个版本，可以取代之前迪志公司开发的 文渊阁四库全书 电子版。 国家图书馆除此之外还开通了爱如生公司开发的 全四库影像系统 、 中国方志库 、 中国丛书库 、 敦煌文献库 、 二十五史订补 、 明清实录 、 道藏全书 、 宝卷新集 ，书同文公司开发的 四部丛刊及增补 ， 国学宝典 CNKI版以及欣诺格公司开发的 全唐诗分析系统 、 全宋诗分析系统 、 二十五史研习系统。 北大图书馆开通了 中国古籍基本库 、 四部丛刊及增补 、 文渊阁四库全书 以及书同文公司开发的 中国历代石刻史料汇编 、 十通 、 大清历朝实录 、 大清五部会典。

从阅览室西门经楼梯到下1层进入105书库，书库总体分布北侧为中文书，南侧为外文书，南侧依次为文集、俄文书、日文书、西文书、港台书 N开头 、考古类书以及部分大型丛书 北侧依次为中文书、大套丛书、大开本图书。
