More Slightly Odd Gifts – Fudge & Poppy
https://fudgeandpoppy.wordpress.com/2014/05/29/more-slightly-odd-gifts
The blog of a girl who makes it up as she goes along. More Slightly Odd Gifts. May 29, 2014. May 29, 2014. Following on from yesterday’s Mini People. Post – last year when my good friend from work had to go into hospital I knew she was feeling quite anxious about it. 8221; (I must point out that it was a straightforward op with no chance of death! I decided to make her two little books – one filled with silly little cartoons (some copied from my favourite web comics and others out of my own head) a...

To pin or not to pin… – Fudge & Poppy
https://fudgeandpoppy.wordpress.com/2014/08/04/to-pin-or-not-to-pin
The blog of a girl who makes it up as she goes along. To pin or not to pin…. August 4, 2014. August 5, 2014. I, like many fellow crafters, have a Pinterest. Account and curate a few boards. I am not an avid pinner like some people. I’ve seen some boards with hundreds of pins, some pinners who have hundreds of boards with hundreds of pins… how do they find the time? I have about three public boards and one private board. The main one is the one I use to showcase items from my Etsy shop. But recently an ol...

It’s been a while! – Fudge & Poppy
https://fudgeandpoppy.wordpress.com/2014/12/28/its-been-a-while
The blog of a girl who makes it up as she goes along. It’s been a while! December 28, 2014. Wow, I had really hoped to be able to keep up with the blog a bit better than I have been since I returned to my day job back in July. One thing to add to the list of resolutions for 2015! I’ve been pretty busy over the past five months, balancing the day job with my other job; researching family trees for clients as well as sorting out orders from the Etsy shop. Had my most popular pin. He then got his own office...

Hot Water and Pumpkins – Fudge & Poppy
https://fudgeandpoppy.wordpress.com/2013/10/27/hot-water-and-pumpkins
The blog of a girl who makes it up as she goes along. Hot Water and Pumpkins. October 27, 2013. May 20, 2014. The new boiler – with pipes yet to be boxed in! So in amongst the multitude of times Mini C kept telling us what his favourite part was of doing pumpkins (varied between carving out the middle and squishing his hands in all the seeds) and asking us if we liked the smell of pumpkin about a million times, these are what we came up with…. Mini C’s…. Mr C’s…. Day of the Dead. July 4, 2014 at 12:12 pm.

Printing and Stamping – Fudge & Poppy
https://fudgeandpoppy.wordpress.com/2014/07/04/printing-and-stamping
The blog of a girl who makes it up as she goes along. July 4, 2014. July 4, 2014. This week I decided to try to make my own little stamp of my Fudge and Poppy logo using a square eraser. I picked up a bunch of five chunky black erasers from eBay a while ago with a view to giving it a go. I had been flicking through a nice book I got from the library a while back – The H. And Printed Home by Jenny McCabe. As it turns out – I didn’t do too badly! Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.). Probably down to m...

A journey of self-sufficiency. Http:/ fudgeandpoppy.wordpress.com/about/. The fruits of labour. Last year we had a few fruit plants growing on the allotment. We had two types of raspberry – Glen Ample and a Golden variety, we had strawberries and a young gooseberry bush. As they were all in their first years I wasn’t expecting much. We got a few raspberries and the odd strawberry. Fleeced up in November. Little signs of life. Ugh – peach leaf curl 😦. We plan on re-doing the netting around the raspberrie...

https://greenfingerings.wordpress.com/2016/12/08/plot-8b
Horticulture, Gardening, Allotments. Welcome to Plot 8b. This 40ft by 10ft plot was the first plot I ever had. There is nothing growing here at the present time as it has been cleared of produce and weeds in preparation for winter. Over the winter I will be focussing on my new plot in a different allotment site but there will be updates on this plot from time to time over the winter. December 8, 2016. January 3, 2017.
