Life At Number 10: April 2015
http://lifeatnumber10.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Life At Number 10. Loving Life in the Suburbs. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Zucchini and Walnut chutney. Back in the 1980's a friend and I would get together and spend entire weekends cooking.and some of the things we often made was relish, jam and chutney. We both had this little gem from Margaret Fulton - Published in 1981. It's only small but it contains just about every concoction you could ask for, from pickled mushrooms to curry relish and this one - Zucchini Chutney. It's an easy recipe:. Put in a po...
Life At Number 10: August 2014
http://lifeatnumber10.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Life At Number 10. Loving Life in the Suburbs. Friday, August 15, 2014. We've come a long way, although these photos may not necessarily indicate that. Last week we disconnected the sink and moved the fridge out, then got rid of the last remaining bench and got the plumber in to move the pipes to the new sink location. The builder and MONT then started removing the last of the old plaster board so the plasterer could come in and work his magic in preparation for the painter.who arrived on Wednesday.
Life At Number 10: Paint it black
http://lifeatnumber10.blogspot.com/2014/11/paint-it-black.html
Life At Number 10. Loving Life in the Suburbs. Friday, November 7, 2014. Not a shout out to the Rolling Stones, who are here at the moment.but a little painting project. While the kitchen renovation continues .yes, it's still not finished. I've been working on a couple of other things, namely painting some bits and pieces around the house,. But I've moved away from the old tried and true "white" and instead have moved to the dark side. So my old pine chest of drawers are now BLACK. In The Night Sky.
Life At Number 10: Christmas contrast
http://lifeatnumber10.blogspot.com/2014/12/christmas-contrast.html
Life At Number 10. Loving Life in the Suburbs. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Christmas is almost with us and yes, I'm stating the bleeding obvious here. I've always said I love this time of year, but there have been times when I've realised that what I really love is what this time of year promises.but sometimes doesn't necessarily deliver. Anyway.it's a great time if you're not stressed, tired or working.tick, tick tick. For the last couple of years it's been all white and silver around here. December 2...

All the Little Things on Pear Tree Farm. Monday, October 22, 2012. Parties at Pear Tree Farm. My little Miss O turned Two. We had a party at Pear Tree Farm. The sun was shining, the blossoms were blossoming. My little girl was having a blast with her cousins and her aunties and uncles and grandparents. Or as little O says."boiy-day butting! All the Little Things on Pear Tree Farm: March 2014
http://onpeartreefarm.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
All the Little Things on Pear Tree Farm. Tuesday, March 25, 2014. I typed the word 'mess' into google and this was one of the images that came up.seemed appropriate for this post. Today is a Jonah Day.things are not going as I had hoped. Mess on the floor.every floor in the house actually. Dishes piled up in the sink. No, today's post, that incidentally is breaking the extremely long postless streak I have been having, is a fairly grumpy, mundane and ordinary post. I am just having one of those. There is...

http://onpeartreefarm.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
All the Little Things on Pear Tree Farm. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Snuggled up at Pear Tree Farm. Oh dear me.I have been a very slack blogger of late.I just have not had the time or the motivation to get on here and write. Most often blogging just gets put in the 'too hard' basket. I find that by the end of the day I am exhausted and just want to flop onto the couch and do nothing. Other times I look at the laptop and think about the blog.then I think.what on earth will I write about? These are balloon c...
All the Little Things on Pear Tree Farm: On 'Getting Fit and Fine-as for the Festive Season'
http://onpeartreefarm.blogspot.com/2011/11/on-getting-fit-and-fine-as-for-festive.html
All the Little Things on Pear Tree Farm. Sunday, November 6, 2011. On 'Getting Fit and Fine-as for the Festive Season'. So, seeing as tomorrow is a Monday.I have decided to take the plunge and to start my week by going public with my goal of getting Fit and Fine-as. Anyone want to join me? Am I alone with my muffin tops and jiggly belly and my tuck-shop lady arms that keep wobbling when I wave goodbye? Very demoralising too I might add. To know if I have succeeded I guess, my skinny leg jeans will need t...

All the Little Things on Pear Tree Farm. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Hello blog world,. Here I am again. What a journey I have been on and am still on. These last 9 months have been very long ones, full of life lessons and challenges as we have awaited the birth of baby PTF. The morning of the big day! But at last our littlest PTF member is here! So I can read and blog again and sew and do all those things that were so hard to do when I was feeling sick. Good for me to learn that the dishes don't need t...

Katie Prescott Beasley | Moments in the shade at North and Main . . .
There’s a shade tree at North and Main. . . Moments in the shade at North and Main . . . Bought With a Price. March 31, 2018. By Katie Prescott Beasley. Years ago at a bible study, I learned something about Jesus’ last moments on the cross that I had never heard before. Jesus’ declaration moments before death, the Greek word. Think on that for a moment. In the agony of His last few moments, how did Jesus choose to proclaim that the work was done? All accounts are settled. The cost is covered. When I was ...

Life At Number 10. Loving Life in the Suburbs. Friday, December 30, 2016. It never rains but it pours. Melbourne's weather has not been very kind of late. Yesterday's deluge hit the city HARD. I was listening to the radio reports yesterday about all the flash flooding the heavy rain was causing. Well, we had our own flash flood.in my Mum's garage! MONT says he only went to the garage to see how it was holding up, but almost got washed away when he opened the door. Posted by Melbourne Girl. I went with bl...
