Move to Savannah, GA? We have a wonderful opportunity that just became open for an OT and/or a COTA in the Savannah, GA area with SunDance Rehabilitation. They offer comprehensive benefits and excellent bonuses (I should know, because they gave me one last year:) . Please let me know if you are interested, and I can give you some contact info and email company information. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. Does anyone know about the technicalities of getting a master's abroad? Looking at the program course requirements, they seem pretty similar to American universities except that they take 2 years rather than 2.5 and there is no period of strictly fieldwork with no classes. While I'm asking, any recommendations on programs in Australia, England, or elsewhere? I'm especially interested in pediatrics. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Choosing an OT school...: occupational
http://occupational.livejournal.com/32121.html
Choosing an OT school. I personally have been thinking that classes like kinesiology, somekind of healthcare or OT management, and assistive technology classes would be helpful, in addition to the basics, but since I'm not an OT I don't completely trust my own preferences! If anyone could help me out, that would be great. :) And if you want to advertise your school, feel free! Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. I'm a rising fourth year psychology major who has recently decided I'd like to pursue OT as a career. I should be graduating next January and hopefully entering OT school the next fall. My question is, what can I do to make myself a good candidate to get into grad programs? For instance, are there any part-time jobs I would qualify for (all my work experience is in the IT/business field) that might look good on an OT application - at least better than a retail job? Thinking Deep about OT as a Career for me...: occupational

Thinking Deep about OT as a Career for me. My name is Katie, and i am interested in Occupational Therapy. and I have already applied and been accepted to a Masters program for OT. However. I have some worries. I am hoping I can get some feed back from people in this community. Am I crazy to be so "worried" about these things? Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. I'm looking into OT programs and I'm wondering whether anyone can make suggestions. This is what I'm interested in:. Sensory integration or work with autistic children. Forensic OT, especially in forensic psychiatric hospitals. Technology - I have some background in IT and programming and I'm interested in eventually working with technology aspects of OT, like developing computer programs for people with disabilities. Anyone know of programs that offer a lot of training in those things? Post a new comment.
