Life in the 4th Grade. Happenings from Ms. McCormick's Class. Monday, March 31, 2014. You are all smart enough to start your own business.". This afternoon we learned from Rick Gering, co-founder of Eastbay. Mr. Gering taught us all about business competition, catalog design, predicting product sales and so much more. We even saw a size 22 shoe! Students had a chance to design their own catalog page and to compare their predictions with actual 4M (pretend) class sales. Thank you again Mr. Gering!

What's in a Name. What's in a Name. I have always loved that my initials were the first letter of the alphabet and the last- it was one of the reasons I didn't change my name when I got married. I can clearly remember sitting in class in 2nd grade and counting the letters of the alphabet, and then counting to see if my middle name fell in the middle (it does! A to z library. Life in the 44
Life in the 44. Life in the 44. National Good Neighbor Day. Is Sunday, September 28th 2014,. This celebration harkens back to a simpler time, when neighbors knew and cared for one another, in the neighborhood I grew up in, if one kid cried all the moms heard and came running. This bygone era of the sixties and seventies has been replaced with suspicion, cynicism and mistrust, of almost all neighbors. National Good Neighbor Day has since been recognized. Is observing this year’s National Good Neighb...
Life in the 49th
