The Eggman Studios Notebook: Busy Bee
http://eggmanstudios.blogspot.com/2013/08/busy-bee.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. The tiny paintings are now live. I'm pleased as pie with how they all look together, quirky little things that they are. The bumble bee piece ("Escaped") just sold, but there are plenty of others waiting for new homes to fly off to! The sun is shining, I have a coffee date with a good pal, and have been making good progress on yet more paintings. Feeling both inspired and productive, which is always a hard combo to achieve. Hope your week is going well! Posted by Eggman Studios.

http://eggmanstudios.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Woodland Sprites and Sugar Plum Fairies. It's that time of year again! As I sit here on my couch with a cup of tea in one hand, sketchbook in the other, and a warm cuddly cat on my legs I feel most content and happy. Life is pretty grand, indeed. I hope you have a cozy and pleasant Christmas and holiday season! Thank you so much for your support and kind words, folks. Posted by Eggman Studios. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. I am here to announce that a) the shop is open. I spen...

Another Kind of Nerd: Oops.
http://anotherkindofnerd.blogspot.com/2011/06/oops.html
Another Kind of Nerd. It takes all kinds. And Reggae Reggae sauce. My initial purchase was an item that looked like Cheetos Puffs and had the same texture but was peanut flavored, Erdnuss Locken. I am a peanut butter enthusiast. I start many of my days with peanut butter toast. Why not try the strange Cheetos-like German peanut chips? I'll admit, I was afraid. This should in no way surprise: there is no good Mexican food here. And why should there be? Mexican Style and Peanuts! I had to buy them! This is...

Reality in the Rear View Mirror. Often obscured, sometimes foggy, occasionally clear. Thursday, November 06, 2008. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Taking Suggestions, Earth. Reality is best viewed from the rear view mirror at eighty miles an hour. I've happily spent my early and mid-twenties trying to achieve this view of my definition of reality. What is my definition of reality you ask? View my complete profile. Another Kind of Nerd. My name is Poncho. Make your own badge here.

Reality in the Rear View Mirror. Often obscured, sometimes foggy, occasionally clear. Thursday, June 12, 2008. I've put up some Chile pics on flickr, but my internet connection isn't cooperating at the moment so some are missing and a few seem to have reverted to their original sideways orientation. Hope you enjoy the ones I did post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Taking Suggestions, Earth. View my complete profile. Another Kind of Nerd. My name is Poncho. Make your own badge here.

Good I'm glad to see you have access to be blogging on a regular basis cuase I definitely need places to check out online to deter me from doing something productive such as studying for finals. How is the chair working out for ya in your new place? Another kind of nerd. Congrats on the lease and the interweb, my friend! Taking Suggestions, Earth.

Reality in the Rear View Mirror: 02/01/2009 - 03/01/2009

Reality in the Rear View Mirror. Often obscured, sometimes foggy, occasionally clear. Friday, February 20, 2009. My days of stressing out due to lack of work have abated for the time being. Since returning from a short trip to ID, I will have worked 10 out of 11 days. This turn in fortunes is due to Job Number 3: Coffee/sandwich shop dude (is the term barista exclusive to female coffee technicians? 1 A free meal or two. 2 A free drink or two. 3 Meeting lots of locals. 2 Wearing latex exam gloves in addit...

The Eggman Studios Notebook: July 2011
http://eggmanstudios.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Scout's honor, I really did not mean to take such a long blogland siesta. Truly. Life sorta fell in my lap and had me in its clutches these past months. Mostly, I've just been so crazily busy with my science classes that any blog/art updates were out of the question. Also, somewhere along the way a computer died- I may have wept. I'm excited. And seriously looking forward to taking. Devoted to marine invertebrate study. Yes, please. I know that after such a long hiatus it's pretty...

I somehow got slammed these past two weeks with midterms, lab practicals, presentations, and deadlines for research symposium applications. But there's definitely a light at the end of the tunnel, and I can see it. Whew! Posted by Eggman Studios. Sunday, February 03, 2013. If you've stumbled across my Facebook ...

The Eggman Studios Notebook: Metridium Tea
http://eggmanstudios.blogspot.com/2013/09/metridium-tea.html
Sunday, September 01, 2013. I've been busily plugging away at a new body of work that I'm very excited about. It's a bit of a sea-meets-land series of paintings, but with a heavy slant towards the sea. Composed of surreal still lifes and encounters between lesser-appreciated marine organisms and more familiar terrestrial residents, it combines many of my favorite things (nudibranchs! But I thought I'd post a few snippets and behind-the-scenes views in the meantime. How could I resist? 1) Jan 2010: "Endan...
