Life of a Domestic Disaster. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. I cleaned. Yep, that is my Christmas Miracle. After with cupboard open. After with cupboard closed. Please note. I did NOT just move the mess to another room. I put things away and I threw things away. Two grocery bags of trash/recycling. Took two hours. Hmm. Could I find the time to do this maybe once a month? Oh, and if you are missing my posts here, be sure to check my FeltedWoolies. Blog Most of my posts are there now. Mennonite Girls Can Cook.

Travels with Cassidy and Sarah. No Road is Long with Good Company. Monday, November 17, 2008. Beverly Hills, Connecticut. So, I had a surprise visit back to the United States this weekend for a job interview in Hartford, CT. I am not so sure about the job, but I am sure that EconoLodge ranks as one of the sketchiest motel chains in the US of A. After witnessing this bit of Connecticut culture, I fled to the car to make a quick getaway. On to Mexico tomorrow. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The atmosphere and...

Dr. Moonbeam: What makes it worthwhile
http://drmoonbeam.blogspot.com/2007/04/what-makes-it-worthwhile.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2007. What makes it worthwhile. I was honored by the History Club, the undergraduate group in my department, at our annual departmental banquet last Friday; they chose me as the Professor of the Year. I was surprised and pleased and very touched. Sometimes it's hard to remember that all the work isn't wholly unappreciated, after all. That is a wonderful honor and it has to make all of the hard work seem more worthwhile! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bloggy Friends and Family.
