Monday, January 19, 2009. News from DownUnder part 1. Day 1 to 4 – 1/14 to 1/18 US calendar. The flight from Sacramento to LA was smooth from check in at the curb to landing in LA. Of course meeting up with my family is when the crazy begins. Tom Bradley (international) terminal at LAX is a mess. They are in the middle of a remodel and the lines were terrible. We had to stand in 4 different liens just to check in our luggage completely. Crazy… but lines seemed to be the order of the day! The next day we ...

Tuesday, February 5, 2008. The good old days. When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were when they were growing up; what with walking twenty-five miles to school every morning . Uphill through the snow BOTH ways while being THANKFUL for the opportunity. Blah, blah, blah. They've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my childhood, they live in a damn Utopia! And I hate to say it but kids today just don't know how good they've got it! If you were...

http://yiayiajarquin.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Life is moving fast. It's been many moons since I have posted regularly so here are the highlights. Here are the highlights:. Spent two weeks working Sausalito. Sitting at my desk and watching the boats come in and out of the harbor all day was so distracting.sigh! I found that I only love hotels when I'm on vacation, otherwise they are just a drag. Made a new friend at the home office, Mr. Meza is pretty darn cool! It looks great as I swapped the living room / dining room!
