Recently the Reverend James Percival, Rector of Limpsfield and Titsey at St Peter’s Limpsfield, made a very special journey to Israel and Palestine to gain first-hand knowledge of an area so important to many faiths. Set in the leafy Surrey countryside at the foot of the North Downs, Limpsfield borders the town of Oxted and is easily accessible by train (via Oxted station from London Bridge and Victoria) and the M25/A25. Largely surrounded by Green Belt, this incredibly pretty and partly Medieval village is noted for its variety of architecture, including lovely timber and brick tudor style cottages, imposing manor houses, fields and woodland largely belonging to the Titsey Estate.
