You are where you've been. Saturday, May 20, 2006. It is strange that in a country like Cameroon you can live like a King (or Queen! Foreigners living here (sure, not all! Can have a royal life. If you have a good position with an international company, you can get:. A big house in the best neighbourhood - ok, it is not Houghton! A nanny for your kids. A hefty salary checque. A driver (that speaks good English) with the appropriate "status-vehicle". Yes - all of the above is true, even the last one!

I have never encountered a prostitute in any establishment I frequent. Neither have I been stared down 'cause I am having a drink with male colleagues. In Cameroon prostitution is everywhere.
