http://annarborroadscholars.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Ann Arbor Road Scholars. Running in, around, and away from Ann Arbor. Tuesday, October 25, 2005. Running in the Dark. Of course it's due to my overall lack of sleep; but, the black hole in which all of Michigan seems to reside these days certainly doesn't help. Today, the big hit. It's effing dark out there! Posted by ecshelto @ 6:18 PM. Sunday, October 23, 2005. Detroit marathon route. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! On thanksgiving in detroit rock city. Just jokes fellow AARS! Unless, of course, you want to run&#...

littleboxes music: Relent
http://littleboxesmusic.blogspot.com/2009/08/relent.html
Wednesday, August 26, 2009. What's good in 2009? Ugh What the hell. Michael Jackson DEAD. I wonder how many months/years of of "chill time" MJ would have needed to be able to just sleep on his own without chemical assistance? How long had he been burdened by these sleep issues? Since practice for new tour? Posted by littleboxes at 3:37 PM. See this section for links to websites providing information about (some) artists we have featured on littleboxes music. Ann Arbor Road Scholars: relay fever
http://annarborroadscholars.blogspot.com/2005/08/relay-fever.html
Ann Arbor Road Scholars. Running in, around, and away from Ann Arbor. Wednesday, August 10, 2005. I checked the detroit marathon website after our 5 mile run this am through split pea soup-type weather conditions (ahh, MI in august! And hurray - they've posted the relay points. They also have a nice little map. Of the whole route since the simple description "Atwater @ Dubois" doesn't mean jack to those of us who aren't representing the 313 (but props to the 734.awww yeah! To run out and about in canada?

littleboxes music: White Stripes
http://littleboxesmusic.blogspot.com/2005/08/white-stripes.html
Tuesday, August 02, 2005. I went out and purchased the latest White Stripes album the other day. It is a very good album. I had heard it was a bit of a change of direction for them and what I heard was correct. There are less manic guitar solos and more piano solos. I was cooling off on the whole White Stripes thing until I heard Loretta Lynn's album (which is great! Jack White (songwriter and producer for the Stripes) produced Loretta's album and just did a really great job. Click here to listen.

littleboxes movies: Spanglish my Danish
http://littleboxesmovies.blogspot.com/2005/01/spanglish-my-danish.html
Tuesday, January 18, 2005. So, Spanglish was pretty good. A nice little movie, not too realistic, a bit corny, but features good acting and some reasonable dialogue and emotions. Posted by littleboxes at 9:45 AM.

littleboxes music: June 2005
http://littleboxesmusic.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 22, 2005. Oasis vs. Wilco. Well, yes, sorta. I saw Oasis live recently. They were good, very solid musically. I also saw Wilco. They were better. However, I was substantially closer at the Wilco show, so that may have played a small part. I saw Talib Kweli once as well. He just walked around and made some hand gestures. He did not embarass himself but all the excitement of the show came from his lyrical and rapping abilities as opposed to his showmanship. Posted by littleboxes at 5:21 PM.

littleboxes music: Neil Young
http://littleboxesmusic.blogspot.com/2006/05/neil-young.html
Tuesday, May 09, 2006. Neil Young's album is out today. Living With War. I don't really live with war. How am I to relate to Neil's new album? Of course, I've never said "Look out momma, there's a white boat coming up the river," and that hasn't stopped me from seriously digging that song "Powderfinger.". Question of the Post: How stupid could George W. Bush actually be? Do you think if I told him that one foot was shorter than a meter that he would know what I was talking about. littleboxes music: May 2005
http://littleboxesmusic.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 22, 2005. Holy Shit. I was so fucking ignorant. I had not heard of Spoon until I read about them in that often piece of shit magazine called Rolling Stone. Spoon are apparently a 3 piece outfit from Austin, TX. Their new album "Gimmie Fiction" is a very solid album. It is probably not a great album. It will not cause you to run down the streets half-naked, screaming to your neighbors that you've found the lord and you're finally going to stop dropping acid. Posted by littleboxes at 10:55 PM.

littleboxes music: October 2005
http://littleboxesmusic.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 14, 2005. Quick Reviews of stuff The PANDA has recently purchased:. Pretty damn good. A bit, a tiny bit, of a change in direction for them. Some great melodies here. If you liked them before, you should still like them, unless you think they went "pop" or something (which would only prove that you are an asshole of some sort or another). Paul McCartney-Chaos and Creation. A few good songs. Much of the album is kinda ho-hum. Maybe I've just heard too much Paul McCartney is my life?
