Learning to live life hidden in Christ. June 2, 2016. June 24, 2016. At the end of last week’s sermon. Pastor Zeke left us standing before God with no excuse and no way to pay for our sin before Him. He is the judge whom we cannot appease. We (I) have no defense, no argument, no plea that will make anything right. That is why I have dwelt on the bad news this week. I have pondered the raw shock of realizing there is NOTHING I can do to save myself from the just wrath of a righteous God.

I was “surprised” to find the Lord reaffirming His deep love for me through the songs and communion and the words of Scripture and the message. I came feeling so unlovely.
