Thursday, August 23, 2012. SMWGA plays at Sunday River Golf Club. MJ Whitney and I drove up to Bethel the afternoon before the tourney and stayed at The Victoria Inn. The place lived up to its name with high four-poster beds and ancient furniture and gewgaws everywhere. The proprietor was very pleasant and accommodating, giving us an earlier than normal breakfast. Aidan, Alida, Eli, Phil, Meg, Jeb, Cece, Em, Tam, Ad, Tracy, Aimsel, Ron and Tess, Walt and Ellie, Paul and Vickery just to name some of the friends and relatives who delighted in the quiet beauty of Panther Pond. Wednesday, April 03, 2013. Inky and the Easter Bunny at the Montage. Sarah and Steve, plus Emerich and Jeb all gathered for an Easter feast at 35. However, the cook fumbled the lamb roast, stuffed with slivers of garlic and fresh rosemary. It turned out to be most unsavory, tough an dry. Into the garbage it went directly after dinner. As if this wasn't bad enough, the garbage disposal machine refused to operate, clogging the sink with unsightly gunk. Posted by Pam Strayer. Words from the Wise.
