One thing I missed growing up in California was the colors of fall, so being in Utah to watch the trees make their beautiful transitions is a real treat. Here are a few shots that I took with my waterproof Olympus Tough camera. Another treat was actually seeing a beaver entering its elaborate den. After spending some time in Idaho and admiring the Grand Tetons from afar (albeit through heavy smoke from wildfires burning throughout Idaho), we decided to go see them up close. We got to our not-so-deserted island today where we will stay for two months at Marina Beach RV Park in Port Aransas, Texas. We stayed here back in 2011 and enjoyed it so much that we had to come back. Thursday, July 1, 2010. So we found heaven today.its in Oregon and its Pinot. Country. B and i woke up early after a late night for B, to head out to pinot. Country. We stopped at a place called Burgerville. On the way. It is a local "fast food" chain and was awesome. All the beef, vegetables and dairy are organic and local, all paper and plastic is recycled and bio degradable. Very neat concept, and not that much more expensive than a traditional fast food restaurant. A little piece of puppy paradise.
