Living with Type 1. Monday, August 24, 2009. Lows at the Supermarket. I know it’s only been a few days since I found out my A1C was 6.6, but my sugar levels have been great! If I had to choose a place I’d want to have a low like that, a supermarket would definitely be at the top of my list haha. I’ve been trying hard to have more patience and eat one thing, wait a few minutes, then check to see if my level is any higher. It usually is. It’s all about self-control! Thursday, August 20, 2009.

Living with Type 1. Friday, August 20, 2010. I just purchased my custom made insulin pump leg cuff from T&J Design. I haven't officially worn it yet, but after wearing it for a little while around my apartment, I'm very happy with it! It's so comfortable and doesn't slip at all. I'm planning on wearing it with a bridesmaid dress, so that will be the real test. I'm sure it will be fine though. I definitely recommend this company- they are very friendly and have great products! Tuesday, August 17, 2010.

Monday, April 29, 2013. How big is baby? Week 37: Leek; Week 38: Celery Bunch. Some nights are better than others but still manage to always get a few hours of sleep. It's not the best moment, but this weekend I finally finished the last bit of baby laundry. Last week was also great since my team at work threw me a nice luncheon. OMG yes he moves around like crazy and it's really starting to hurt! I'm still amazed at how my stomach contorts to such different positions. Belly button in or out?

Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Weeks 10 and 11. Not too much has changed in the last few weeks, but here's the update:. Maybe a pound or two. How big is baby? Week 10 was the size of a kumquat - whatever that is; Week 11 is a plum. I'm sleeping but found it's hard to fall back to sleep after I get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Best moment this week? Getting our first baby gift from Aunt Cindy and Uncle Mark - an adorable baby robe! I can't wait to use it in 7 months :). Weeks 8 and 9.

My blood sugars have been pretty good. I’ve been having lows before dinner, and before lunch. Saturday and Sunday my blood sugar was just high all day.
