STUBS is a registered charity that provides practical support for UK armed services personnel injured on duty, war widows and their dependants, service veterans and other armed services personnel. A key aspect of their work is providing soldiers from DMRC Headley Court, the military rehabilitation centre made famous by the Help the Heroes campaign, with the opportunity to attend sporting events. Night Stops - Rochester. The day's ride aims to arrive in Rochester for about 4:30pm. We cross the Medway and then finish in the centre of the old town by Rochester Castle. We'll load the bikes into our storage van here, and riders will go by bus to our hotel, so avoiding the two mile long uphill ride! We're all booked into the Rochester Holiday Inn, a high quality four star property which has a pool and beauty salon. Our massage and aromatherapy area will be set up from your arrival until 7:00pm.

Night Stops - Nieuwpoort. After an early breakfast, we leave Canterbury at 0830 and head down slowly to Dover, before taking the 1200 DFDS ferry to Dunkerque. The two hour journey offers a relaxing break, with a chance for lunch onboard, before we dock in Dunkerque Port at 1500. We're then transferred out of the port area by bus. There's a group dinner at the hotel resort, with time free after dinner to wander into the town centre, just 100 metres away, and explore the resort.

The charity’s principal activity is to assist with the social re-integration of the wounded by hosting them at sports and cultural events. Night Stops - Bruges. We leave Nieuwpoort at 1000 for a relaxing ride across the flat but interesting landscape towards Bruges, assembling outside the city at 1300 for a police-escorted ride as a peleton into the city centre. Our ride terminates in the Markt, right in the centre of the town and in front of the famous Belfry Tower. There's time for photos before you head on to your hotel and hand over your bike for a well-earned rest. The following morning there are a number of different options.
