The British Guernsey is a very pretty and docile goat, producing a good yield of creamy, delicious milk. Our nannies Hazel and Lily are delightful; quiet and easy to manage. They enjoy the odd treat and are good mothers to their kids. A nice breed for first-. The British Toggenburg goat is a bigger animal than the British Guernsey and with their long legs and necks they can certainly reach further! Our nannies kid every other year, usually giving birth to twins.

Our breeding pigs Basil, Sybil and Polly enjoy a great life. Basil and Sybil are Saddlebacks (although not registered pedigrees) and Polly (above) is a cross between a Duroc and a Berkshire. Our sows give birth to vigorous piglets with good temperaments. Typically we fatten a pig for almost twelve months, far longer than most suppliers. Our first pig, Napoleon, gave us over 270 lbs of meat! Please contact us for details of piglets for sale.

All our chickens, ducks and geese have large, free-. Proof areas in which to roam. We have a mixture of laying hens; Light Sussex, Green-. Leg Partridge Hens, Cuckoo Marans, Lavender Marans and Gold Brahmas, all delightful characters. We also have a Brahma cockerel so that we can breed this type for meat, they grow to a much bigger bird than the other breeds we have. The Brahma is a strikingly handsome, docile and quiet chicken, despite its size. A young Brahma cockerel. The Light Sussex Hen.

A 1960 Millsons Portman. Pram makers to the Queen. Stately and stylish, this pram oozes old fashioned values and charm. Cumfifolda made these two delightful pushchairs, a 1950s baby’s and a 1960s doll’s version. A 1930s Halsette pram with leather hood and apron and twinswept mudguards.
