You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." C. S. Lewis. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Just Another Day Bloodletting At The Red Cross. Today was my regular visit at the Red Cross to donate a pint of blood. You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." C. S. Lewis. Monday, July 13, 2015. Smart Is As Smart Does. Or Something Like That . I guess it just goes to prove that you're only as smart as you think you are. And apparently when you think you're pretty smart, you really aren't so smart. Which means that even if you think you're smart, you're probably not. So just quit thinking you're smart. Because you're probably not. Smart that is . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

I kept all those friends with whom I have a real relationship with and care about their daily goings and coming. And I may add back some of those others. You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." C. S. Lewis. Saturday, July 11, 2015. Just A Little Wog In The 'Hood. At one point, Molly decided she would do some weight training, so she hoisted Everley on her back and wogged a bit. And then persuaded Everley to return to the stroller. Before Molly passed out from the added weight and heat. And where am I during all this fun? At least I wogged today . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I Know - Really? Lindley Shopping Day #2.

So today, I declare Independence Day for both of us. For Rachel, it's independenc...

Land, Food, and Writing
Land, Food, and Writing. Tuesday, 8 May 2012. The gifts of pain. The many gifts of illness:. The coffee shop next to the bus stop, with its rich smell of cinammon and coffee also smelled of sugar and caffeine, which I don’t eat anymore. I have nothing against coffee and the occasional cinnamon bun – I make great cinnamon buns – but in my present headachey state, nothing much tastes good. Monday, 23 April 2012. So now it was time to call in the alternatives. Many hundreds of dollars later, after weekl...

The best things in life are the people you love, the places you've seen, and the memories you've made along the way.". Wednesday, August 23, 2017. And yes, a bit cold, but we had a great time. All too soon it was time to reboard the Wonder and view the glacier from a different perspective. We all took some "downtime" in our individual ways (think naps) and then ate in Tiana's, which was a delightful experience. Headed to see some ice! Speeding away from the Wonder! Beginning to see some ice! Today we sai...
