Five Go Blogging: April 2014
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 27 April 2014. This week I've been taking a peek from a different angle to see how things look from there. I'm always a fan of unusual perspectives, reflections and silhouettes and want to explore the possibilities while going about my normal day, naturally. On the kitchen floor as they line up ready for a wet Easter Egg hunt. From the wood floor, a house can be built. Up close, too close to his precious chocolate. From the past, on the library steps. From above, as we watch some tv. 5 If I could...

Five Go Blogging: March 2014
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 29 March 2014. Sunday, 23 March 2014. I hadn't missed a week in the 112 weeks I've been doing the 365project but last weekend I was heading for a deadline and fitting work around the children meant I was all worded out by Sunday. But I'm back with 14 days worth of 365'ing for the price of 7. What a deal eh? The early worm doesn't get manhandled by an inquisitive child. An early night for some grown up shoes. Late afternoon light on these gorgeous front doors. Keeping you up misty moo? My father...

Five Go Blogging: Is it nearly Christmas yet?
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014/08/is-it-nearly-christmas-yet.html
Sunday, 31 August 2014. Is it nearly Christmas yet? And other questions I've been asked this week. Q Mummy, can we buy one? A Yes, as long as it fits in your pocket. Q Can I have a sweetie now? A You can have one after we've bought some. Q Why can't I go to bed at the same time as you? A Because I need some me time to drink half a bottle of wine and raid your sweetie jar. Q Do I look beautiful, mummy? A Always, my princess. Q Will it be cold, mummy? A Not very cold, no. Q Why can't we have that trolley?

Five Go Blogging: February 2014
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, 23 February 2014. I watched my family struggle this week with sad news. I also watched the Big One grow up a little bit. This is not a coincidence. Learning how to change the oil filter and oil on our neighbour's motorbike. Worried that the wee one was watching the big ones and will want to stand on the swing next time. He watched a boy choose a book from a series, and then chose one himself: Learning about new authors. Join The Boy and Me to meet some other 365ers. Saturday, 22 February 2014.

Five Go Blogging: 365 Project
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/p/365-project.html
I heard about 365Project where you take a picture a day to record your year, to capture anything you like. It could be a special family moment, a beautiful scene or just one of those quick snaps that although not necessarily professionally executed, still looks awesome! I love taking photos and I am now on my second year. I record my photos at 365Project. And I join in with The Boy and Me. Who has a linky every weekend. Maybe I'll see a few of you there? 30 January 2012 at 00:02. 30 January 2012 at 00:03.

Five Go Blogging: October 2013
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, 28 October 2013. Not a Me&i photo shoot - Review. I am a sucker for a great print. Like Orla Kiely and her retro bright designs, me&I. Have captured some amazing Autumn colours in their new season range emblazoned on some fabulous T-shirts and dresses. The prints are bold and funky and easily coordinate into any wardrobe. They are also largely unisex which makes for some very cool kids on the block. That shot is from the catalogue. Look at the perfectly composed photo. The cut is excellent and per...

Five Go Blogging: July 2014
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, 27 July 2014. And I know the next 6 weeks will fly by and I'll be saying "Back to school already! I want them to have fun, and when we can, we will be taking trips, seeing friends and going on outings. But I also want them to have the freedom to use their imagination and 6 long weeks of summer seems like a great time to do so. Who needs any toys when you can run in the rain! Exploring nature in the house. Experimenting with bouncy things on bouncy things. Result: bouncy! Sunday, 20 July 2014.

Five Go Blogging: Scaling new heights of meh-ness
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014/08/scaling-new-heights-of-meh-ness.html
Monday, 25 August 2014. Scaling new heights of meh-ness. The mad frenzied flurry of pre-holiday preparation, where favourite t-shirts are retrieved from under beds and quickly laundered, where you squeeze two weeks of work into one and where websites are scoured looking for in car boredom busting games for a family of 5 travelling for 5 hours? No I'm not sure either. So I apologise for the meh-ness that is this week's 365 project. Fractionally lower I'd say but only courtesy of a sticking out tongue.

Five Go Blogging: May 2014
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 May 2014. A new week filled with sunlight breeds new optimism but with a huge knot in my stomach as I sign a contract of employment. Times are changing. Priorities change. Families grow up and I found a job that uses my skills and will hopefully work with family life. It isn't a return to big corporate corner office that I once thought was all I wanted. It is a very small company, but with big ambitions and opportunity for me to start my second career. Stepping out from the shadow of my family.

Five Go Blogging: June 2014
http://fivegoblogging.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 June 2014. Saturday, 21 June 2014. I really wasn't bothered about Britmums this year. I went last year and the year before and loved every minute of it; the opportunity to meet the faces behind the blogs I enjoy, the lessons to take home and apply to my little speck of the web, and the emotion and passion of the speakers. But this year, I've not had the time or energy to commit to my blog, or to the relationships built through blogging. So missing Britmums wasn't a loss. See you next year!
