Brown Eyes in Texas: June 2013
http://rubenandlori.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
A peak into life in the Cortez Casa and our adventures! Comments are very welcome! Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Moved in, sort of! A few from afar have been asking what our "new" house looks like! We have owned it since 2006, we just are back in it and wow, did we really leave and all that happen these past 2 years? It feels a little weird! One thing about moving back in, I can do things right this time! Here are a few pictures. Some of the inside. The one room I couldn't wait to have again! Bath tub and a big.

Wade & Kristi
http://wadeandkristi.blogspot.com/2011/11/our-little-monkey.html
Friday, November 4, 2011. This costume was very fitting. We went "trick or treat"ing with Ryder and Ethan. Ryder had a blast while Zack just wanted to go into each house. still kinda fun! I hadn't done that in years and years! We got our first bit of snow the other day. Zack thought it was pretty neat. And the puddles that he usually splashes in, were froze over. that was hard to figure out. They had their story written on the front page of our local newspaper. you can read it here. Michèle M. The Brown Mama Chronicles: A Mother of Convenience
http://thebrownmama.blogspot.com/2011/06/mother-of-convenience.html
Wednesday, June 1, 2011. A Mother of Convenience. I am a mother because it is easy. Truly. The hardest job on earth, is the easiest it has ever been. If I lived in any other time, or in any other place, I'm not sure what kind of a mother I would be, because I sure complain now. I mean we all do right? Except that I have felt so chastened lately when I think of how easy I really have it. Because my grandma didn't go to the grocery store for bread and milk. Every single meal, and most of its components...

Life Well Shared: "You're gonna miss this"
http://lifewellshared-jessica.blogspot.com/2013/12/youre-gonna-miss-this.html
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.". Thursday, December 12, 2013. You're gonna miss this". I think it's fairly normal for expectant moms to voice their discomforts, because let's face it, pregnancy can be uncomfortable! There are lots of amazing things to experience, but sometimes I just want to sleep on my stomach or be able to bend over to put my boots on easily! You're gonna miss this. You're gonna want this back. You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast. Having t...

Life Well Shared: Books That Made a Difference to Me

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.". Thursday, December 12, 2013. Books That Made a Difference to Me. Oprah has an article in her magazines that's called "Books that made a difference to {insert celebrity name here}". I have always enjoyed seeing what types of books resonate with celebrities I know of. There is no shortage of pregnancy and birth books on the market. and no shortage on my bookshelf either! On Christmas holidays on the way out to BC, specifically. I remember ...

Life Well Shared: July 2013
http://lifewellshared-jessica.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.". Wednesday, July 31, 2013. One very important picture from July. Time for the July update. Kalvin has worked away most of the month in Manitoba, and I have dearly missed him. While he was home for a few days, we had a wonderful time at Dids 2 convention. Besides the most important reason for going, we also got to catch up with friends and family. I realized I didn't take any pictures this month! Except for one very (very very) important one:.

Wade & Kristi: June 2010
http://wadeandkristi.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 14, 2010. So today I went up to Golden for my 34 week ultrasound. Ultimately it was to find out if I still had placenta previa (I won't explain.) anyway the verdict is that I don't yay! I did ask her if it was possible to tell if the baby had hair and she showed me that indeed this baby does indeed have some! Anyway, I was a bit sad and super tired so came home and had a nap. Thought I would post the nine week picture - so long ago it was just a peanut! And hopefully wade's hair too! As if Z...
