my life. my loves. my ramblings.: February 2015
http://thelittlepeacock.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
My life. my loves. my ramblings. I haven’t sat down to write anything since, well, being home. I think of how writing was such a passion for me. It’s what I did every single day. I had dreams of being a journalist - capturing the latest breaking news and broadcasting it for all to see. And now, here I am. Five months after coming home from New York, I am really writing for the. And it hits me. How sad. How terribly, terribly sad. How did I let such a passion slip away? Which doors am I shutting? Should I...

our little life in the big city: November 2012
http://kyleandem.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
November 9, 2012. Belgian waffles and mr. columbus himself. We love our little outings in the city. This time, us moms and babes were off to meet Christopher Columbus himself. Though this statue has stood in the prominent Columbus Circle since 1892, it is often overlooked and visible only as a silhouette against the sky. The views of the park were so beautiful from way up high- capturing the changing fall leaves and the tall buildings that peek out above the foliage. November 7, 2012.

our little life in the big city: August 2012
http://kyleandem.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
August 29, 2012. It was one of those days.baby doesn't sleep well, I crawl out of bed exhausted (at like 10am, mind you) and think to myself, "Today will be a lazy day for sure." At that moment, Kyle called and told me he had 4 awesome tickets to the US Open that day. Needless to say, plans changed instantly! When we stopped by Kyle's office to get the tickets, he even showed up with a huge bag of snacks for our day's adventure. Isn't he so sweet? Even with a long train ride both ways, a lot of sitting, ...

Margie's Blog: April 2014
http://margieschildcare.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
What shapes my life. Saturday, April 19, 2014. In preparation for Easter this year I brainstormed how to sew up some easy Easter baskets/buckets. I like the fabric style ones because I can smoosh them into storage a little better but to find ones that I like I was looking at close to $20 a bucket. Um, not in my budget for a candy holding device, right? Today the kids gave their baskets a test run at the city egg hunt. Then this afternoon we spent a few minutes decorating eggs with the crew. This littl...

our little life in the big city: ice hockey
http://kyleandem.blogspot.com/2013/01/ice-hockey.html
January 8, 2013. Kyle Poll, Ice Hockey Legend. Well, maybe not exactly, but he did started playing in an ice hockey league. Shocked? I was too when he first pitched the idea. Guess there's a first time for everything, right? Turns out they conveniently play right across the street in Central Park and Hudson has been dying see him in action. After much begging and pleading by me, Kyle finally relented. Look at that adorable face and those eyes. So alert and intent on the every little move on the ice.

Ryan, Andrea, Ethan and Violet: March 2014
http://andreamichelledoria.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Ryan, Andrea, Ethan and Violet. Monday, March 24, 2014. I may need an intervention. I went to the store tonight to get a couple of things (milk and eggs), and happened to walk past the flower section. purely coincidental. Okay, not really, but I really didn't intend to buy anything. until I saw this HUGE plant of Hydrangeas. It's like 2 feet tall! With thick, healthy canes and gorgeous purple and lime green flowers. I will never get tired of this sweet face, or of her randomly saying "I love you". By far...
