field | work: you can now find me...
http://glossary-of-field-work.blogspot.com/2011/07/you-can-now-find-me.html
Wednesday, July 27, 2011. You can now find me. Where I will reflect on the experiences of family and motherhood, or. Where I will reflect on the landscape of writing and reading. More or less. It's divisive and compartmentalized and will sloppily spill over, but it makes sense to me and I suppose that's mostly what matters. Stories told by Molly. This is like unravelling a puzzle inside and enigma - going from blog to blog of yours - a delight nonetheless. November 18, 2011 at 2:13 AM. Well, as you can s...

paper tattoo press: trade
http://papertattoopress.blogspot.com/2009/09/trade.html
Tuesday, September 29, 2009. I now have motivation to bring the press to working order: this weekend, in trade for time on the press, Shawn Hebrank. Husband of one of my friends in the MFA program) gave me one of the most striking tattoos. That's it just after, so it looks awfully red and painful, but several days later, and it's healing nicely, feeling a bit like a sunburn. I've been doing some research and found this. As an excellent resource. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Paper tattoo press shop.

paper tattoo press: December 2010
http://papertattoopress.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 2, 2010. Weekend class at mcba: the intentional page. I had forgotten the peace of that smooth rhythm, sewing the signatures together. I need to return to the full-length course on introductory bookbinding and then maintain that practice. My friend Meryl has amassed quite the collection. In her mentorship experience. I did not love what I did with the photographs I had, though I knew what I loved from my own bookshelves. But I couldn't translate that to the page. Paper tattoo press shop.

paper tattoo press: May 2009
http://papertattoopress.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2009. Kelsey 5 x 8. It looks like I've found what some consider the "perfect" starter press- a Kelsey 5 x 8. I found mine online, and am grateful that it was a tabletop platen press- we have no where to put anything larger (no matter how much I might have fallen for that Vandercook we learned on in letterpress class). I've also joined the Ladies of Letterpress. It seems to be a fairly quiet social networking site, but I plan to use it, in conjunction with Briar Press. Sunday, May 24, 2009.

paper tattoo press: Letterpress I
http://papertattoopress.blogspot.com/2009/05/letterpress-i.html
Sunday, May 24, 2009. I think, sometimes, about the ways in which image word can converge. This weekend, an introduction to letterpress, where I fell in love with the Vandercook, vehemently sought my own platen press, made my first two broadsides and greeting cards, and was taught by the hugely patient and ever-charming Regula Russelle. paper tattoo press: October 2011
http://papertattoopress.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 13, 2011. Introduction to book arts: bookbinding (two). We made our first humbling attempts at Japanese stab-stitch binding, and since the awls were cattywampus. As the instructor said, and my thumbs were destroyed before I realized I was trying to press-and-wiggle them into the protective book board underneath. The stark red cover was also unforgiving; a patterned one might hide a little of the stray lines. Sunday, October 9, 2011. Dream of a perfect interface (one). This afternoon was...

paper tattoo press: July 2010
http://papertattoopress.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 29, 2010. My dear friend Meryl. That's her, up above) and I took a class through the Minnesota Center for the Book Arts this month with Monica Edwards-Larson, who runs Sister Black Press and previously gave me a quick-and-dirty tutorial on the MCBA's dusty and roller-addled Kelsey press.
