The Reluctant Accountant: Brush with fate
http://netsui.blogspot.com/2009/11/brush-with-fate.html
Sunday, November 22, 2009. My toothbrush retired today. Not of its own volition, of course. Toothbrushes don't just shrug their bristles and say, "ehhh, i've had a good career. Made it through two tubes of Crest. I think I'm gonna go pursue other things. Maybe start up my own gig scrubbing showers or sumpin'". Me: You know, Brush, I really appreciate everything you do for the company. Your dedication is unmatched. Ohthank you. I do my best y'know. Fight tooth and nail *chuckle* for this company. They mak...

The Reluctant Accountant: May 2009
http://netsui.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Dear Papa John,. It pains me to write this letter. Honest to goodness, I’m usually your number one fan (I’ve been a member of the “Fan of Papa John’s” Facebook group since 2008). But right is right, and the American Consumer’s sense of duty in me hasn’t slept for weeks. Even my grandparents, products of the Depression who would rather eat leftover Vienna Sausage tetrazzini than pay for takeout food, order pizza from you. What can I say? Thirty five-ish minutes later, Arthur was a...

The Reluctant Accountant: April 2009
http://netsui.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2009. I think these pictures are the funniest thing since Al Gore invented global warming. Why? The picture of Beffy and me with the wizard hats. Obviously its in the Disney store. Obviously we are too cheap to actually buy a hat. So why were we sitting in a store taking pictures wearing wizard hats? Because that's how we Heywood's roll. Look at Ryan's expression. It's not fear. Nor is it terror. Not really boredom. What is he trying to express? Here I am, posting at 11:22. So she co...

Jonathan & Jamie: April 2011
http://jonathanandjamie.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. While in utah, my family and i celebrated the easter tradition of coloring easter eggs. thanks to marie's online research, she found a new twist to coloring easter eggs - wrapping a raw egg in silk and white cloth then boiling in water and vinegar. my dad donated a couple old ties that he hadn't worn in a while, and we came up with some pretty eggs! It was so fun to cheer her on with my parents, little brothers, grandparents and uncle. way to go, marie! Thursday, April 14, 2011.

http://jonathanandjamie.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 12, 2011. Nice and Avignon, France. Day 7 - August 16th. Similar to every day on this trip, we had an early start on the train to make our way from Genoa, Italy to Nice, France. After a day of intense hiking, it was nice to relax on the train and enjoy the beautiful coastal views as we made our way through the last of the Italian Riviera and into the French Riviera. Our first destination when we arrived? Crepes, of course! Day 8 - August 17th. Day 9 - August 18th. This picture is for m...

The Johnson Family of Suisse: How to watch Downton Abbey when the Brits do!
http://paulandsusanjohnson.blogspot.com/2014/09/how-to-watch-downton-abbey-when-brits-do.html
The Johnson Family of Suisse. Saturday, September 20, 2014. How to watch Downton Abbey when the Brits do! Here in Europe and in England, Downton Abbey starts on September 21! That is tomorrow night! BUT, unless you have an English IP address you can't watch it. Unless. And then subtract the hour difference that your state is from London. Tonight we are doing a trial run. To make sure that what is on Downton Abbey's channel ITV1, is in sync with the ipad. It has never failed me yet. I hope it works for you.

The Johnson Family of Suisse: Looking for Joseph
http://paulandsusanjohnson.blogspot.com/2013/01/looking-for-joseph.html
The Johnson Family of Suisse. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. We have many religious holidays here in Switzerland. After Christmas and the New Year celebration comes Epiphany. This holiday falls on January 6th, but it is celebrated starting the Sunday before to the Sunday after. This Christian "feast day". Porcelain figure inside. The next morning I set out to get a family king cake and get our own little porcelain figure. I waited until two days after Epiphany, because I thought the cakes might be cheaper&...
