Monday, June 17, 2013. Today we toured the Black Forrest. It was one of the prettiest places we have seen. Grandpa and Grandma Schultz. Saturday, May 23, 2009. We took out all our grass in the front and side yard. We still have grass in the back yard. We are the proud owner of many rocks. Look on! WHAT A SAD LOOKING YARD. BUT THIS LITTLE GUY HELPED BRIGHTEN THINGS A BIT. OUR ROCKS - DON'T TRY TO MOVE THEM. YOU WILL BREAK YOUR BACK. OUR LITTLE MEN ADD TO THE DECOR. THE FOUNTAIN LOOKS BETTER NOW THAT THE. ROCKS ARE FIXED UNDERNEATH. NOW IT IS BEGINNING TO LOOK BETTER! Now our yard is all done. It looks neat.

Thursday, May 16, 2013. Tulip Fields/ A visit to Gouda. The tulip fields were absolutely amazing! Next we went to a little town called Gouda. Yes, it is where gouda cheese comes from. We walked around the market place, sampled cheese, and took pictures of this quaint little town. We had French crepes for dinner and then drove back to the hotel. It had been a long, but fun day. Friday, February 8, 2013. Museum of Naturkunde (Natural History). Today we went to the Museum for Natural History. What a neat place. I wish we had taken little Bob there when he came to visit. The theme for the museum is "The Evolution of the Earth and Life on it". There are sections about the cosmos and the Solar System, The Earth, Minerals, Birds, Animals, and Insects. Monday, June 17, 2013. The most defining feature of Heidelberg is the castle, considered the most magnificent castle ruin in Germany. It took 400 years to build. It suffered sever damage during the 30 year war and the war of Succession. Rebuilding was started but when lightening struck in 1764, attempts at restoration stopped.
