Sunday, February 22, 2009. So, it's been a while and winter is doing its thing. I feel like I'm in a giant snow globe from which there is no escape! Okay, maybe it's not all that grim, but I am more than ready for Spring. Time is a funny thing, it turns out my last blog entry was some time just before the Fall. On July 11th, Mychael asked me to marry him on a walk in the park after dinner and of course I said yes! Then we kissed as much to comfort and hold one another together on what turned out to be an extremely emotional moment in our generally comfy and simple life. Oh, and there was music, someone, presumably in an apartment building began playing something suitably sappy just after my acceptance. Comforts 2,3,4.

Monday, March 2, 2009. Nothing much of note, but. It seems like such a good time to write. It's snowing, gently, and here I am on our old brown couch watching my cat sleeping in the soft gray light. It's a snow day, in the no work, no school, staying indoors sense of the term. I wonder how many other places on earth have snow days and I'm feeling thankful for the unexpected break. I want to dance! I want Spring and warmth and short sleeves, cold food, long days and hot nights! Day 10 of Hatch 1.
