Sunday, September 17, 2006. What are your talents? Josh had a lesson on talents in church today so he decided to write his talents in his journal and thus, Kayla did too. I loved it! He recognized what he was good at and stood up for himself. So a few good things came out of that for me- I learned to let my kids be proud of their accomplishments, and we finally took the time to help Josh learn to ride his bike. Links to this post. Thursday, August 31, 2006. I love the little things my kids say to make me laugh. The other day while we were eating dinner I asked Kayla to hand me her plate. She put one hand behind her back, bowed her head, handed me her plate and said, "Why certainly my highness."
