Davis Dragonflies Soccer | Dharma Bum

https://meanderingswithmatthew.wordpress.com/2014/09/14/davis-dragonflies-soccer

Adventures in Daily Life. Izzy’s soccer team has a new name: The Davis Dragonflies! Practices and games are every Saturday, and last between 45 minutes and and hour, depending on the kids. Most of my time was spent playing with Owen at the park next to the practice fields. I didn’t get. Any pictures of the soccer action this week. The most important part of soccer for kids this age, of course, is having fun. The second most important part are the post-game snack and stickers. September 14, 2014.

Adventures in Daily Life. I haven’t posted in awhile. Too much living going on. Today I pick up a new LHT! For the uninitiated, an LHT is a Surly Long Haul Trucker, a fantastic touring bike. You can read more about the Surly Long Haul Trucker here. I had the shop do some customization. Finally, I replaced the stock saddle with a Brooks saddle. I’m excited about the new ride, and will update you soon on the buildout! This entry was posted in Cycling. January 25, 2012. By Matthew S. Crider. July 28, 2008.

Just another WordPress.com site. The Beauty of a Storm. March 12, 2018. Anyone who knows me knows that I am pretty easily distracted. If you don’t believe it, simply walk through the aisles of Hobby Lobby with me. I can go from deep theological discussion to “oooh, shiny! 8221; and back again in a split second. If you’re thinking I’m like Dug from the movie Up, you would not be the first to make that connection. Squirrel! If you’re confused, google it). For the most part, these are benign distractions.

Meanderings with Me

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. I think the idea of a bucket list is charming, thought provoking, and adventurous. Here is the beginning of mine (drafted at work; subject to change. One of my friends said "I write my goals in pencil, so that God take me down a different path if He wants to." I have adopted that.). Thank you to Prism for the idea! 1 Serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 2 Go to Italy (March-May '08). 3 Take ballroom dance classes. 7 Become a doula.

Meandering Teacher | Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.

Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. Cruisin’ Halong the bay. July 6, 2016. July 6, 2016. After getting back to Hanoi from Sa Pa, my next stop was to figure out how to get to Halong Bay. Luckily, my hostel was pretty helpful in arranging that — and would cut me a deal if I would agree to room with a random stranger! Luckily, my new forced-friend, Gabriel from France ended up being a great travel partner and real-life friend. The next day we headed our to Cat Ba Island, supp...

The meandering thoughts and observations of a Technology Engineer. So, this afternoon while sitting down with my dad for lunch we usually try to solve all the worlds problems. We spend our time talking about politics, religion, economics, business and many other things. In an effort to solve the worlds problems we often end up in the same loops, but something new came up this week and it got me to thinking. According to the CDC ( http:/ www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db82.pdf. There is a lot of people ...
