October 1, 2015. So, Chris and I spent about 4 hours on our little trusty scooter named “Beat” to find the little place we’re staying in now. We drove around the Canggu, Berawa, and a few other areas, calling every place for rent sign we saw. At the end of the day, we were rewarded with the place with all the views. October 9, 2015. The second day of the course we learned more about composting, worm farms, planting seedlings, and got to get our hands dirty and actually plant in their huge garden. I swear I’m paying these people money to be manual labour for them 😜. But I’m loving it! I can’t wait to use all that I’m learning and put it into practice… Hopefully in Dareda! October 14, 2015. Chris and I have been relaxing in Java. It is definitely a different pace of life here. The internet along with speaking English is few and far between, which makes it great to really erase some of the stress from our move and Sydney life. We’re doing a bunch of day trips to great places like you see below. We’ll probably be here for another week… surfing, working, and sleeping… life is pretty simple right now.
