Monday, April 25, 2011. Greek Celebration Bread Part 2. I made it just in time for Easter. I didn't think it would happen because Mike was away last week and solo-parenting and bread making were not a match last week for me. Thankfully my wonderful mother in law took my girls for a sleep over. So I made the Christmas (the round one) and the Easter version of the Greek Celebration bread. Delicious! Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Buy Whole Pieces of Meat. A great way to save money is to buy your meat in whole pieces. We went to Costco and bought a 12kg inside round roast or slab thing.not sure the proper name. It was $72 dollars and I was able to cut it into 12 roasts ranging from 1.5 - 4 lbs. At first I was a bit scared of cutting my own roasts but the price difference was astronomical. For a 2-3 kg package it was $30! Now you may ask what am I going to do with 12 roasts? Then join me on getting rid of all the jars that you barely use. I am not saying, "Go and get a garbage bag and toss it all.". Let's use it up. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Getting close to my goal wasn't that hard after all. I cleaned my fridge out this weekend and got rid of all the out of date items, containers with barely any left and even though it is wasteful items that I will never eat.like calorie free peanut butter. Friday, February 25, 2011. You can barely see the burn but it is quite bad. It unfortunately happened one Sunday morning whilst breakfast was being made and there were 3 adults in the kitchen. The hilarious thing is when you ask Zoe what happened, she will tell you that the doctor did it. I don't know where she got that but it cracks me up. Our youngest at 4 months. Saturday, October 16, 2010. Zoe loves to paint but not neccesarily on paper. Georgia - One Week Old. Georgia's first week has been pretty busy. She got to stay in her first hotel, visit Grandma Jan's, be at two holiday meals and battle with a blocked tear duct. She is a night owl which is fairly normal but she takes it to extremes and likes to be awake from 1 am until 5am or later. Zoe loves to hold and give kisses to Georgia. She asks several times a day.
