Julio Carreon received his training at the University of VeraCruz, School of Architecture. While in school he was actively involved in the restoration of Vecindad Cuauhtemoc in Xalapa downtown, a residential housing development. Following graduation, Julio Carreon worked several years in construction management in the Veracruz area, Aguascalientes and finally Puerto Vallarta.
