On the way to our hotel, the driver told us that they were still not satisfied with their performance and are working on improving the number of flights they can handle. There are two runways at the airport - one for landing and one for takeoff. The one thing that Singapore shares with other big cities in the world is the traffic jam. Even though it is costly to own a car in Singapore there are still a lot of them on the road.

Observations from Malaysia on the world around. Sunday, December 29, 2013. The Cathedral in Penang finally allowed girls to serve as Altar Girls. This is the first time I have actually seen this happen. I do not know if this is a common practice so I did a search and found that it is not common. Observations from Malaysia on the world around. Sunday, March 15, 2015. I would like to recognize two exemplary customers service I received this week. The second person was the Telekom’s technician who came to my house to fix my Streamyx connection. I have been complaining about the service quality in my house for more than two months and have submitted more than six reports. Observations from Malaysia on the world around. Monday, October 6, 2014. Android Phone Mobile Data Leak. I recently noticed that my android phone was incurring data charges (while I was not on data plan). Initially, I thought it might be due to a virus, rogue app or some setting I may have accidentally activated. I was unable to confirm my finding earlier (because of the mobile data subscription) but its been one week since my data subscription ended and I have not seen any strange mobile data usage.
