Monday, April 25, 2011. I found an ATM and for the first time the entire week I handled my first Euro. I have been spoiled here with all my meals paid for and gelato twice a day. Thank you UPI! I hope to take some wine back with me so I want to have some Euros ahead of time. And just to the point I started feeling the Nutella begin to unsettle we were there. This field was so neat! The actual field itself wasn't in great shape, but it's location and surrounding view was gorgeous! They even complimented m...

http://pinmoneyquilts.blogspot.com/2014/05/whats-in-box-whats-in-box.html
Family, Friends, Fabric, Food, Fur, Feathers and Fascia. Sunday, 11 May 2014. What's in the box, what's in the box. The other day we went to an Auction Day for collectibles and antiques. We spotted a brass wood/fire box that would suit our fireplace nicely and the bonus was that it was full of "stuff". Ship on the high seas. Press studs and small scissors. Availabl...

SoCal Texan: February 2011
http://socaltexan1.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 5, 2011. The hot and humid days of Texas have taken a sabbatical. This last week we have experienced 4 days in a row of below freezing temperatures. The Arctic air decided to visit us on Monday night and did not leave us until Saturday morning! I am not used to having one day below 32 degrees, but 4 days straight! I didn't have enough clothes for that! The roads were already white, and slick! I proved to do well until the last turn before my apartment where a slight decline in the road...
