I was born in Namibia and lived there until our family moved back to South Africa. I would happily have stayed, but my parents decided it would be more fun to have me with them. There may have been times when they regretted that decision. For a while, I considered becoming a vet, but gave up on that idea when I discovered that birthing a calf is hard work.
