My Level of Awareness » Learning to fly

My Level of Awareness. 8220;Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them.” – Albert Einstein. Today, while I was reading Whymommy of Toddler Planet. I was reminded of one of my favorite quotes on faith:. When you have come to the edge of all light that you know and are about to drop off into the darkness of the unknown, Faith is knowing one of two things will happen: There will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly. Go and give her some faith today.

It's Not All Mary Poppins. A childcare provider is expected to be a superhuman mix of the Madonna and Mary Poppins, ever patient, loving, kind, always delighting in the sweetness of her charges. I don't do such a bad job, all in all, and it's far more likely the parents than the children who strain my sanity most days. But I'm here to tell you: It Ain't ALL Mary Poppins. View my complete profile. Stick Your Pin in My Map! I'm also over here:. Born fall, 2005. Details will follow. Full time. Home on the F...
The Maybe Baby (Babies): Muppets from Space
http://www.themaybebaby.com/2008/11/muppets-from-space.html
The Maybe Baby (Babies). Childhood cancer survivor. That's the good news. Bad news? Chemo and radiation zapped my eggs leaving me infertile. Egg donors were found, several attempts were made and finally we were blessed with beautiful twin girls - born too early (21 wks, 5 days on Dec. 5, 2008). Hang out with me while we savor life with Big Baby Boy, who arrived via gestational surrogate on March 25, 2013. Saturday, November 15, 2008. Note: Dear Creme de la Creme. Miss Ivy Lynn: I quit
http://ivylynn.blogspot.com/2009/02/i-quit.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I've smoked on and off since I worked at Six Flags the summer after my senior year. That's nine years. I'm quitting on Monday. Be a big help. Lately, though, the health thing has been weighing on my mind, too. Don't get me wrong, I've never been ignorant enough to deny that smoking is bad for you. But taking a step back and looking at all the people in my life who have been affected by cancer is really quite devastating. Way back in 8 th. Put that in jeopardy any longer...
life in the petri dish: Nearly Done
http://lifeinthedish.blogspot.com/2010/11/nearly-done.html
Life in the petri dish. It's amazing how it grows. Monday, November 29, 2010. I have to say that there is one fantastic thing about having a really short Christmas list this year (besides the ease on the pocket)- I'm nearly done with it. I'm one of those annoying people who wants so much to have just the right gift to give. Of course, I also want to find the bargain of the century. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The dish on me. Modernity ward (leery polyp). Tinkering with the works.

Life in the petri dish. It's amazing how it grows. Thursday, October 29, 2009. Beyond the obvious fact that I've not posted here for two months (I think that's a new record for me), suffice it to say that I've been crazy busy with work and life and such. But I wanted to share a quick tidbit from the mouths of babes (specifically Mr. Moo):. MrMoo: Who picked you? This went back and forth about a half dozen times.skipping ahead. MrMoo: Who picked you and Daddy to take care of me and Boudica? The dish on me.

Hard Boiled: A Donor Egg Blog: Considering egg donation? Keep it on the down low
http://www.donoreggblog.com/2009/03/considering-egg-donation-keep-it-on.html
Hard Boiled: A Donor Egg Blog. When your ovaries don't know that 40 is the new 30. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Keep it on the down low. Recently I had a blog comment from a lady who is just starting her journey with egg donation, and her post got me thinking back to that time. I realize it's strange for a woman who blogs on the public Web about egg donation, to tell others to keep quiet about it. But bear with me, and I'll explain why. Using donor eggs is rarely - never? To the everlasting credit of my frie...
life in the petri dish: July 2010
http://lifeinthedish.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Life in the petri dish. It's amazing how it grows. Friday, July 16, 2010. And I was surprised to find that his incision is not covered at all because it was closed with surgical adhesive. For those who love a little trivia, that was an early use for super glue, except in a more military medic kind of way. There are stitches underneath (and some wire holding the ribs together), but the surface is really not that gory at all. Good deal. It's ok, though, because he's here and he's healthy. They accepted with the modification that they would still be allowed to market their place. Fair enough (so to speak). So, now we wait. And wait. And wait some more.*. The showing, no? Today we may have crossed a threshold because she asked to pick out a toy at the store and told me that she can't have it until she goes on the p...

Midlife Momma
The writings and thoughts of a woman in the process of rediscovering herself. Sunday, May 14, 2006. Today is Mothers' Day, so I would like to share some memories of my mother in her honor. One of my favorite memories is the two of us reading a book called "Mary Lizzie" together. She would read a page, then I would read a page. I think it was my first chapter book. My mother was a voracious reader and it was like joining the best club in the world when I learned to read. Posted by midlifemomma : 12:45 AM.
