Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Don't you wish that the drain pipes in your home were clear? You know like on the bottles of Drano and Liquid Plumber? Just those bits that are under the sink so you can see what on earth is clogging them? I just spent the last hour or so trying to unclog my kitchen sink! I follow the directions on the bottle.nothing. I do it again.Nothing. By now I am getting frustrated and a wee bit mad. Why isn't this stuff bloody well working? Two hits with the plunger and we are home free!

Drama on the high seas! Sunday, March 23, 2008. Craigslist is our friend! Craigslist has been phenomenal for getting rid of our *crap* without us having to move a muscle! We managed to find new homes for all our kitchen appliances and some other miscellaneous stuff that we had lurking in the garage in the past couple weeks, in preparation for the wood floors to be refinished. Drama on the high seas! Friday, March 7, 2008. This weekend we started "nesting". Or should I say Patrick started nesting? Petite gamine's due to arrive sometime in and around mid-July, though if my genes have anything to do with it, she'll probably be late. A couple weeks ago while I was in a meeting, I felt this gurgling in my tummy? It felt like someone farted in a bathtub, except *I* was the bathtub! I like the 'farted in a bathtub' analogy. Never heard it discribe likt that before!

Thursday, July 13, 2006. I have decided that I have too many projects (works in progress = WIPs) on the go! To date I have 2or 3 crochet, one knit, and at least 3 or 4 cross-stitch projects all currently in some state of completion.not to mention all the projects that have been bought and are now sitting in a box awaiting my attention. - did I mention those? Then I won't go there! Let's see if I can make a dent in these things.how to do it? When is there time? Neither do I but it's worth a shot.lol!

Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Well, I am now that much closer to finishing my curse.I mean my course. I have submitted the final unit and now have to prepare for an exam which will take place in two weeks, finish a practicum, and do a 2 week field placement at the Cancer Registry and I AM DONE! Celebrate with me world! It has been a journey fraught with much angst, tears, frustration, and many thoughts of "What on earth am I doing? My final hurdle will be a certification exam that will be given in November.

Monday, May 15, 2006. When I first moved into my home I was thrilled to get to know my neighbors. Everyone seemed so nice. How soon that all changes! I now have one neighbor that seems intent on telling me how to keep my yard and my dog! Now, I know that it is my responsibility to clean up after my pet. I am aware that a standard must be maintained for the good of the neighborhood. However, how can she be so sure that it is my dog that is always the one in question? Posted by Cheley at 5:51 PM.
