Tuesday, March 30, 2010. A little bit of green. Since my computer does not seem to be recognizing my new import of pictures (and since my technical support team, a.k.a. my husband Andrew, isn't home right now) I'll have to post an old one. This is a picture I took when I first got my new camera, about 9 months ago. I love this tree! I used to walk past it everyday at Village Manor and was always amazed by it. It brings back so many memories of our time in Kentucky and all the people we love there.

Thursday, April 1, 2010. He's not a tame lion. Absolutely not tame. In fact, at any given moment he can be quite wild, ferocious and defiant. Then moments later, he can be gentle and compliant, cuddling up to me and giving me sweet, lion kisses. Yup, he's all boy - my boy, and I love him! April 13, 2010 at 7:10 PM. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. I love how creative these kids get! They wore these pipe cleaner glasses throughout supper and had so much fun pretending that they couldn't see without them. Hosted a concert in Shelby Park this last Saturday. It included free burgers, chips and drinks to anyone who came, with the hope that many from the neighborhood would show up. The concert featured church member Marcus G, a.k.a. the Christian rap artist Flame. Our good neighbor friends, the Conns, joined in our evening of fun.
