Allen Family: September 2008
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2008. Pictures under the category "other" (Dustin). Here are a few more pictures of what has been going on around our Allen household. Lindy got an umbrella a while ago that she has been treating as a toy, but last Friday, it finally came down and she got to use it for what it was intended. She was quite tickled. Bianca is all bundled up, appropriate since the high dropped over 20 degrees on the day it rained. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. But we found out when we got to the thea...

Allen Family: Apple Trees
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2009/03/arboles-de-manzana.html
Wednesday, March 18, 2009. This past weekend we planted 2 apple trees in our backyard. They are semi-dwarf so hopefully we'll get some apples in about 2 or 3 years. Digging the holes was not so bad, except for one spot where the ground was still frozen. After the planting Lindy and Bianca got to play outside for a long time. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. Allen Family: October 2008
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 11, 2008. Is it Fall or Winter? Talk about crazy weather. To give you an idea of how crazy the weather has been this week I'll show you some pictures. Remember our pictures at the pumpkin patch(Monday), it was cool but not to bad. Here's a picture of our tree(Wed.). Here is Lindy helping me water the tulip bulbs we just planted. (I can't wait for Spring.) Anyway, notice that Bianca is wearing her hoodie. It was a bit chilly that day, and windy on top of that. The umbrella in our backyard.

Sunday, August 3, 2008. Trip to Oregon: Day One. View of Mt. Hood from the highway. So much easier on our way down. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. Our first stop was the Pittock Mansion. It was very interesting to walk through the house and see how they used to live. The views of the city below were also great. After lunch we walk around Downtown and one of our stops was. View of the city from the garden of the Pittock Mansion. Albert Ei...

Allen Family: November 2008
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 22, 2008. Time for an Update. Lindy is growing and learning so much. Her favorite thing to say or should I say ask is "What is this? And her other favorite one is "How do you spell it? Who knows she might be in the spelling bee contest someday. She loves going to Pre-school and playing with her friends. Another thing that is growing is her wish list for Christmas. Some highlights are a real pony ("with like real legs," she told us), a motorcycle, and a guitar, Oh! And here we have the ...

Allen Family: June 2008
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Anything with water attracts Lindy like a magnet. This is how we kept Bianca entertained. She loves riding in the backpack. On top of the Conference Center. We were amazed by all the trees and flowers growing up there. Riding the train was one of Lindy's favorite things. All of the Church history sites were great, but not exactly Lindy's fare and she was complaining loudly until we got to the Planetarium where she decided that she didn't want to go home anymore. An optimist beli...

Allen Family: Easter Sunday
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2009/04/easter-sunday.html
Monday, April 13, 2009. Sunday we had an exciting Easter. We had the Trexlers over for dinner and I am so thankful that the ham turned out really well and the girls behaved as well as can be expected. We didn't get a good picture of Lindy and Bianca in their Easter dresses together, but the one above was a pretty good one of Lindy, but then she took off and refused further shots of her. Here is a happy one of Bianca. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Albert Einstein: "I...

Allen Family: Long and boring Winter
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2009/03/long-and-boring-winter.html
Saturday, March 7, 2009. Long and boring Winter. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An optimist believes we live in the best of all worlds and a pessimist fears it’s true. Laugh alone and the world thinks you are an idiot. Don't judge a book by its movie. People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who really do. Abraham Lincoln: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.". And then there were six.

Allen Family: December 2008
http://dustinandabish.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 17, 2008. On the way to Arizona, we stopped by the Salt Lake temple to see the Christmas lights. They have added a lot of cool new stuff since last year. It was truly a great time. Here is the view from the south of the temple. When I think of the temple I think of seeing it from this angle. Here is Lindy looking at one of the nativity scenes that they have in place. I like how it looks with the newly fallen snow-very Christmas spirited. Lovingly created by Abish Allen. It was a busy ...
