In the winter there can be fantastic skiing if the weather is right. Here in the North East we have easy access to 2 ski centres. The Lecht Ski centre. Is located just 25 miles from Dufftown. Situated 2090 feet AMSL and set amid the beauty of the Eastern Cairngorms, this natural playground offers exciting skiing opportunities. The Cairngorm Ski Centre. Is at Avimore just 40 miles away (around 90 minutes drive) and offers a tremendous choice of skiing for all abilities. Where's the track gone?
