Wednesday, February 25, 2015. To pick up where we left off almost a month ago. Chase ended up getting to go to the high school STATE championships. He ended up missing a seed spot in the 100 breast by .04. Ya, that's how things go in swim. I started off February sick. I missed the Bridgerland Open Swim meet hosted by our USA age group team, the Gators. It is the first one in 8 years that I missed. So glad Melissa ( she volunteered without know what she was in for, thank goodness! View my complete profile.

Monday, September 15, 2014. A whole new world has been opened to Chase since turning 16 and school starting, DANCES! He told me on the Tuesday before the dance that he was going to ask a friend of his to go and that they had rounded up a group. Problem #3 done. His friend D. asked her friend on Thursday night.Yes, I know that is pushing it for these poor girls to find a dress. There was also another couple joining in. Problem #1 done. Chase's date volunteered to drive them all. She's a trooper! Let's go ...

Saturday, May 10, 2014. Today was the day. Every year I have gone to the Health Days 5k for Chase to run. Every year I have said "Maybe next year". Well somewhere that came back to bite me. HARD! My great sister-in-law, Keri (who runs) volunteered to run it with me. I am so thankful to her! Chase and Shiloh ran the 10k and they did great! My main goal was to finish but my next goal was to finish before them. I did by about 11 minutes. Yay! Friday, May 2, 2014. I LOVE the flowers! I will bring them home i...

http://daveandtrishandersen.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 26, 2014. Yesterday was a special day. There was not a great deal of pomp and circumstance. No gifts or parties. It passed by like many other days with work, cleaning, tending, and taking care of daily tasks. It was pretty much life as we know it, but it was special because it was our life. Dave's and mine. We acknowledged and celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary! Sunday, July 6, 2014. We only had 2 weeks! The planning and excitement began. I was still feeling VERY nervous about the...

Tuesday, February 11, 2014. On the good ship Lollipop. So sad to hear of the passing of Shirley Temple. We watched a lot of her movies when McKenna was little. McKenna was our little Shirley Temple. She had the curls and the animated personality to go with it! She loved to sing, dance, and pretend! She was our own little performer. She loved to go next door and watch the Shirley Temple movies with her Grandpa Griffiths! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. On the good ship Lollipop.

Andersen Family Chronicles: March 2014

Friday, March 14, 2014. 26 years ago today. It seems like yesterday, sorta, but 26 years ago today our sweet Shanae made us parents. We were so young then, just kids ourselves. It was a very long, hard, and miserable labor and delivery. That also provided a long, hard and miserable recovery but holding that sweet little baby made it all worth it. She was born with a full head of hair which was so fun to put bows in. I learned to sew with Shanae. This little sailor dress was my first project! Fresh foto a...
