La Vita Bella →. Verona, Lake Garda, and the Alps. June 18, 2012. Verona has a medieval-like feel to it, and I can see how Shakespeare based his romantic play on this lovely place. Yesterday was my favorite part of the weekend, hands down! We took the bus into the region of Trentino, an area along Italian Alps. On our four hour hike, we stopped at two waterfalls and a big open area with incredible views of the mountains. We all kept singing songs from. The Sound of Music. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Everything about Florence… →. May 31, 2012. The wonderful french press coffee Chelsea and I made this morning. No more buying tiny coffees out! How can it be that my first week of classes is almost over? So far, I’ve enjoyed my two courses and my professors. Although my classes are long (two and a half hours each! This weekend Elizabeth, Sarah, and I are off to Rome for two nights. We’ll be staying in a hotel thankfully *insert sigh of relief*, and we hope to do as much sightseeing as possible.

A Taste of Italia. May 27, 2012. Finally, we are all settled in our new apartment! It’s beautiful. We have eight girls sharing the space, but there is more than enough room! All the girls in my apartment – Elizabeth, Sarah, Chelsea, Kelly, Frances, another Sarah, and Caroline – are such a joy to be around and I am so happy that it worked out for us all to live together.
