"The Stones Would Cry Out": August 2009

The Stones Would Cry Out". Tuesday, August 11, 2009. The Significance of the "Free Will" Debate. Luther did not mess around when it came to defending God’s freedom in grace:. Vol 3, pp. 1376-1377). Legacy of Sovereign Joy. Where one stands in the free-will debate inevitably affects their doctrine of God and man. It affects how we think, how we pray, how we read our Bibles, how we evangelize, and much more. This was quite evident this past week when two friends were grieving. Or who has first given to Him.

A blog about me and my family and what's going on in our life lately! Saturday, March 27, 2010. Just a quick update.the offer we put in on Monday was beat out by a cash offer. So we made another offer on Tuesday - beat out by another cash offer. Made a third offer on Wednesday, were strung out until 5:00 Friday evening and then rejected. The Darrs: Springtime in Nashville
http://steveandsarahdarr.blogspot.com/2011/04/springtime-in-nashville.html
Thursday, April 14. We spent a long weekend visiting Steve's parents in Nashville. After the spring we've had up north, it was just the break we needed. Two of the days topped out over 80 degrees! The greenery and flowers gave me hope of what's to come in Minnesota. There's something about Nashville scenery that is so calming and serene. You feel like you're in a movie. Cherry blossoms in Phil and Linda's back yard. We stopped by the Dave Ramsey headquarters . Saw the original Grand Ole Opery.

Life Lately: April 2010
http://tarterlifelately.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
A blog about me and my family and what's going on in our life lately! Saturday, April 17, 2010. As I'm sitting here listening to my son let out intense grunts while playing with his toys, in attempts to compete with the noise of his Gramma Tarter's vacuum cleaner.I thought, I haven't written about David in a while! So, with a contract pending now, I thought I would take a few minutes and post some new pictures of the little man! He is still ever aspiring to MOVE! There are three ladies that particularly ...

Tuesday, September 14. Despite the fact that I ran track in high school and have been known on occasion to go for a jog, I don't still consider myself a runner. Several years ago I did a handful of 5k races, but if I'm brutally honest it was more for the perks (t-shirts, snacks, etc) than the actual running. 3 miles in, still smiling. 5 miles in, Katie still smiling, me not so much. 6 miles in, no explanation necessary. :). Thursday, February 10. This January, we went on an amazing trip with our friends Andy and Lisa to Thailand. Neither Steve or I had been to Asia before, so we were incredibly thankful for friends who are both familiar with the culture and great travel companions! We took so many pictures and have memories that will last a lifetime. PART I: Chiang Mai. And stole wine from the beverage cart which, as a nervous flyer, made me all the more uneasy. But we survived and the anticipation kept us sane. We were all...

The Darrs: Thailand: Part III
http://steveandsarahdarr.blogspot.com/2011/03/thailand-part-iii.html
Wednesday, March 16. The last leg of our trip we went to the Koh Phi Phi island and Railay Bay. As the saying goes, the pictures are worth a 1,000 words. We lounged on the beaches,. Hiked up to the viewpoint on the brutally steep path (thankfully it was worth it in the end),. Watched the sunset every evening,. Found a tiny newborn kitty on the road (& couldn't resist picking up),. Went to see 'The Beach' from Leonardo DiCaprio's movie,. Stopped at Monkey Beach and gave them a few snacks,. 3/16/11, 4:49 PM.
