Trial test will be given on Tuesday and final test on Thursday. If your student gets a 100 . On the trial test on Tuesday they will not be required to take the final test on Thursday. Welcome to Mrs. Barnes's Classroom! We will be studying Life, Earth and Physical sciences throughout the year. Students will be using a textbooks, work sheets, experiments and ipads to complete outcomes. In the Spring students will be participating in the Science Fair as well as the Science State Assessment. The 5th and 6th grade science fair will be held on Thursday, March 10th. All 5th grade students will be required to participate in this fun and exciting event. January 28—State your hypothesis.

Below you will find the last activities of the year. 5/26 - 10:30 Assembly - Magic in Science. 5/29 - Spelling Bee - Just with room 14 - 5 finalists will compete against the rest of the third grade class on 6/1. 6/1 - Spelling Bee Finals - 5 finalists from each of the third grade classes will compete. 6/1 - 6/4 - Dismissal is at 12:50. 6/2 - Vacation to Mars - class play - dress rehearsal.
