About Mountain Rescue Blog. Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR). A Local “Sort Of” Mountain Rescue. May 23, 2014. It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? On to what I actually wanted to talk about. This is the latest. An depressed individual leaped off one of the several bridges that cross the river. About Mountain Rescue Blog. Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR). I get a lot of questions about what I carry when I’m involved in a search and rescue operation. Frankly, it depends. Personal first aid kit. 25ft 1’ tubular webbing. I view this as a minimum. I am. Cold weather searches are a different animal. Leave one →. November 22, 2011 2:45 pm.

The man’s friend and another climber called 911.
