Achieving My Dreams, One Line at a Time: Aaaaand, we're back!
http://nolineleftbehind.blogspot.com/2010/05/aaaaand-were-back.html
Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Aaaaand, we're back! So, I would have written a new post a lot sooner but the bus never came (bah-dum-bah! No, but seriously, personal time lapse aside, how much Muni ridiculousness has occurred in the past year? For starters, passes have gone up from $45 to $55 and up again to $60 for regular Muni service and $70 if you're ballin' and want in-city BART access. If you're paying out of pocket per ride, the price has gone from $1.50 to $2.00. Muni drivers make an enviable salary.

Fog City Notes: November 2004
http://fogcitynotes.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
One observant girl takes on the fog city. Monday, November 29, 2004. Thanksgiving (and a mini bus report from Beantown). I spent a lovely Thanksgiving weekend in, here it goes: Brookline, Scarsdale and Somerset with cameo appearances in New Brunswick NJ, Brighton MA, Allston, MA and Trenton, NJ. If you showered me with love, affection and hospitality I am grateful. I saw the Hs., the Ys., Miss M. and A. I was given birthday cake twice in public and once at the Ns. I saw the bird, who is doing quite well.

Fog City Notes: Bus Report #881
http://fogcitynotes.blogspot.com/2015/07/bus-report-881.html
One observant girl takes on the fog city. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Tuesday, late afternoon on the 19 Polk. It's crowded but I've got a seat near the back since most of the other people who boarded when I did were afraid to sit back there with the laughing teens and the man drinking a beer wrapped in a paper bag. Amateurs, I thought, slipping past the knot of CCA students to an open seat next to the beer drinker. I nod my head, say, "Yeah.". Posted by Rachel at 3:45 PM. Spying on the city, but nicely.

Million Things To Be: April 2011
http://1000000things2b.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Million Things To Be. Sing out and be free. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. So, today going to work, five minutes into my commute I could tell I was going to have one of those I hate everyone. Transit commute days. Come on, people, learn how to act. If you've never ridden MUNI, get ready. If you're currently waiting for MUNI, um, good luck. In any case, it reminded me of one thing I'm really excited for about going to UCSF for, which is totally unrelated to the actual top-notch learning. While distracting mys...

Mixed Nuts and Quips. Putting the poo in number two! Oh Say Can You Seeeeeee! Crazy Bus Lady of the Week! Rude and Crazy Bus People. July 7, 2010. I’ve decided to kick off the ‘Crazy Bus People’ of the week with a story of a bus, a rude man, and a nice scalding cup of Starbucks coffee. This may sound weird but I have a strange obsession with crazy bus people and ever since I moved to SF and began to take Muni. I froze in utter horror that this was actually happening to me! It was an accident! Enter your ...

Fog City Notes: February 2005
http://fogcitynotes.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
One observant girl takes on the fog city. Monday, February 28, 2005. Bus Report #49 and other stuff not related to public transit (Gasp! This morning while waiting for my bus, a very, very raggedy man got on the express bus. I was glad he did not get on mine: he smelled awful and wore layers of rags upon layers of rags, with duct tape wrapped around his hands. But he did pay his fare, I'll give him that. This weekend I walked all over our fair city. Downtown is, predictably, a zoo as always. Things have ...

Fog City Notes: Bus Report #879
http://fogcitynotes.blogspot.com/2015/06/bus-report-879.html
One observant girl takes on the fog city. Thursday, June 25, 2015. It was late, and I was tired, blinking in the florescent light of the 22 Fillmore. A man sat down beside me. He didn't leave any space between our bodies and I tried to slide closer against the window but it made no difference. The entire length of our ride I could feel his thigh against my thigh, his shoulder and arm against my shoulder and arm. He held it out to me and his bloodshot eyes seemed to be imploring me to take it. I smiled an...

Fog City Notes: April 2005
http://fogcitynotes.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
One observant girl takes on the fog city. Friday, April 29, 2005. While waiting for the 22 last night I had a nice chat with Ramon. He claims that he is not very social, but I don't buy it. Since he will talk to a relative stranger at length several times a week at the bus stop. Posted by Rachel at 9:53 AM. Thursday, April 28, 2005. Sarah also provided the voice for Violet in The Incredibles, which is a super cute movie! The bus came on time and there were only a couple of creepy people on it, which is u...
