Tuesday, August 24, 2010. It had been a loooooong time since I had ventured north to Nashville, TN. The last time was to visit my grandparents, so it was.the mid-80's. Man! It HAS been a long time. I wish the circumstances that took me there had been different. I addressed that in the previous entry. Better get to my trip observations before I get back into 'can't write mode'. As we exited Tennessee and entered back into Georgia, a major feature of the highway shoulders became more prevalent. The evi...

Thursday, July 22, 2010. It's a warm, sunny morning here in Savannah. The passing of the night was spent wide awake, and surfing the net. If it wasn't for the Internet, I'd have spent the night surfing the TV channels longing for something other than an infomercial. Oh well.another day has dawned, so moving right along. 42: Back to Music City...
http://chameleons42.blogspot.com/2010/09/back-to-music-city.html
Saturday, September 18, 2010. Back to Music City. No Do I think it's cool, and am I looking forward to having it? As for the above picture, it has absolutely nothing to do with Nashville. I went for a short walk to the mailbox, and took a detour down by the marsh. Saw a rather large grey heron (at least I think it's a heron.there are a lot of them around here) sitting on top of one of the decaying dock posts I photograph quite a lot. Monday, September 6, 2010. Don't think they'd act too kindly if they felt someone might be trying to horn in on their business. In addition to the prominently displayed bikinis and flags, I'm pretty sure they would have a variety of shirts, lighters, and belt buckles. Items for the discerning redneck. Gotta love the south. I expect they'll be back again since the gift giving holidays are just around the corner. Maybe next time I'll venture over for a peek.and some close-up shots. View my complete profile.

Monday, May 31, 2010. On This Last Monday of the Month. By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918). In Flanders Fields the poppies blow. Between the crosses row on row,. That mark our place; and in the sky. The larks, still bravely singing, fly. Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago. We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,. Loved and were loved, and now we lie. Take up our quarrel with the foe:. To you from failing hands we throw. The torch; be yours to hold it high.

Thursday, April 29, 2010. While watching television last night ("Ghost Hunters" rerun) I was summoned outside by Glenn. Apparently, it was an optimum time for us to see the ISS, or International Space Station. I'm usually pretty hip to stuff like that (interesting occurrences that deal with Space), but that was the first I was hearing of it. He had been alerted to it by some of his Facebook friends. So anyway, I slid my flip-flops on, grabbed a jacket, and joined him in front of the building. It has real...

42: Views & Reviews...
http://chameleons42.blogspot.com/2011/01/views-reviews.html
Thursday, January 20, 2011. Seems I'm suffering from split blogging. My new blog, "Musings From The Marsh", is clearly going in a specific direction.metaphysics, astrology, astronomy, and the like. Glenn refers to it as my "spooky" blog. This blog (42) has been quiet for a couple or three months. I'm officially shaking it awake, and will be using it for.everything else. There ya go. Last evening we watched our latest Netflix flick, "9". It was absolutely terrible. Visually pretty? Thats kind of what I fi...

Saturday, February 20, 2010. Spinal Tap' is a classic. Don't think many who've seen and appreciate it would argue with me there. My favorite moments are too many to list.hmmm.okay, I'll mention two: 1) "This one goes to eleven." 2) The lowering of Stonehenge. Twenty years ago, a mass suicide occurred in the millionaire Yang household. To this day, the case remains unsolved. Only one heir secretly survived and years later he inherits the family mansion and returns with his fiance. Sunday, February 14, 2010.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I'm going to start off, before I even get to my story, by saying that I didn't take this picture. I googled it. I procured Glenn's truck to make a quick trip to the grocery store, and before I left I had a quick debate with myself as to whether I should take the camera along, but.I decided that there wasn't a point. Boy, was I wrong. Sothat was this weeks trip through "Wild Kingdom". Really wish I had the camera with me. Friday, January 22, 2010. Friday, January 15, 2010.

42: Cool, Calm, & Moody...

Friday, October 1, 2010. Cool, Calm, and Moody. My stroll today.not me.well, maybe sometimes.a little. Make video montages at www.OneTrueMedia.com. Did he have a family member lying at rest among those tiny graves? When I got back home I felt.relaxed, but infused with the energy of autumn. Other fans of the season will know what I mean. It wasn't really a long walk, but I experienced the first day of October on it's natural turf. I do love this time of year. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
